BOOMING sales of an anti-ageing product made from red grape skins have confirmed Smeaton Grange’s status as the economic powerhouse of Camden.
Buyers are snapping up the Nature’s Goodness juice and capsules called t-Resveratrol, an anti-ageing product manufactured from the skins of certain red grapes.
The sales boom, sparked by a 60 Minutes report, follows Nature’s Goodness attracting international exposure earlier this year when Famous magazine reported supermodel Kate Moss was using one of its products, Mangosteen Juice, to help detox her “party-ravaged body”.
Nature’s Goodness owner George Kowalski said there had already been extensive research into resveratrol when he became interested in it years ago.
Australian scientist Dr David Sinclair, from the Harvard Medical School, has conducted three years of research into resveratrol, finding it prevented the effects of a diet which is high in fat when tested on mice.
Mr Kowalski said he expected the sales of the product to climb.
