How it works
Plant sterols are essential components of plant cell membranes which resemble the structure of cholesterol and perform a similar function. Great tasting banana flavour!

Benefits
Plant sterols may help lower LDL cholesterol (the ‘bad’ cholesterol) by blocking its absorption. If enough sterols are consumed in the diet, they will compete with cholesterol in the digestive tract, resulting in a reduction in the amount of cholesterol absorbed in the body. PhytoChol contains:

Soy extract - rich source of plant sterols, which reduce cholesterol absorption by up to 15% (when consuming 3g plant sterols per day).*
Flax seed - a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, which can help increase levels of HDL (the ‘good’ cholesterol) and lower blood lipid levels.*

Directions
Mix one teaspoon (approx. 4.5g) PhytoChol with half a glass of water, and consume with meal. Do not consume more than 2 serves per day. Store in cool, dry place.
